Gravesend Ladies Hockey Club has been running successfully for other 25 years and proudly shares its home ground with Gravesend Rugby Football Club.
We are a strong vibrant club offering great opportunities for players young and old. Currently we have four senior ladies teams with our 1st XI playing in the
East England Premier League Division One, the 2nd XI play in the Kent Premiership, our 3rd XI and 4th XI teams play in the Kent League Divisions three and
four respectiively.

As well as our four senior teams, Gravesend Ladies Hockey Club has an extremely healthy youth section from the ages 13 - 18 years, with keen players from
our local schools such as Gravesend Grammar School for Girls, St Georges, St John's RC Comprehensive and Northfleet School for Girls. Over the last two
years the U16 squad has developed their skills and the love of the game playing in the Kent Junior League. At the other end of the scale is our VETS team who
regularly attend the Kent Vets Tournaments and are still a force to be reckoned with. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

SEASON 2008/09 TEAM SELECTION

Team selection will take place on the following dates:
6th & 13th Sept (1.15pm - 4.15pm) - 9th Sept (8pm - 9pm)

Team selection is open to all club members and NEW players wishing to join GLHC for some fun competitive hockey. Players who wish to be elligible to register for our adult league hockey teams must be over the age of 14 years old.

NEW for this season 2008/09
We are proud to announce the launch of a NEW Colts Section to the club for boys and girls from the ages of 7yrs to 12yrs. Our new young players will be
introduced to the wonderful game by QUICKSTICKS a brand new small-sided game for hockey which has been created specifically for younger players who
are still of primary school age.

The new game of QUICKSTICKS has been developed by England Hockey together with a number of external partners and volunteers, it is fast, safe and exciting
